This DIN rail mounting kit includes a sturdy spring loaded bracket for the standard 35mm DIN rail. This works with rail depths of 7.5mm or greater. The main 3 models of the JNIOR (410, 412 and 414) are now in a new housing design which supports this mounting kit. The kit comes with four #6-19 7/16" thread cutting Phillips flat head screws so the bracket can be securely affixed to the back of the JNIOR.

The JNIOR can be easily attached and detached from the DIN rail. The clip grips the rail on both the top and bottom. The solid "fixed" (non-spring loaded) tab of the clip rests on the top of the rail and bears the load. The spring loaded tab latches to the bottom of the rail. To remove the JNIOR simply push upwards to compress the spring loaded tab and pivot the top off of the rail. The product can then be lowered away from the DIN rail. Attaching the JNIOR to the rail is simply the reverse of this procedure. No screwdriver or special tools are required. This is superior to the old style clips.

Note that the 412DMX as well as the expansion modules still require the DIN-300 clips. The old style DIN-300-001 clip can still be used with the new housings.
