The Triggers tab has different types of trigger to react on different signal values. NOTE: Options that are grayed out and in italics are not implemented yet...

  1. Discrete Trigger

A discrete trigger monitors signals of I/O from the JNIOR or its expansion modules. Choosing a trigger to watch a discrete signal can watch if the I/O goes High or Low.

  2. Continuous Trigger

A continuous trigger monitors the signals from the 4-20ma, 10volt, Temperature Probe, or Environmental Sensor. These values are continously being recorded for their values, and are always updating. Choosing a trigger to watch a continuous signal can watch if the signal goes higher, lower, or equal to a certain value.

  3. Expression Evaluation

Monitors the expression entered for the field of this trigger. When the expression evalutes as true, the trigger is activated. This can be used to make a more complex trigger that requires more conditions before activating.

  4. Control Panel Single Switch

A Single Switch trigger monitors a button press on the Control Panel. This trigger can react to a selected control panel button.

  5. Control Panel Multi-Switch

A Multi-Switch trigger monitors when 2 button presses on the Control Panel are pushed at the same time. This trigger can react to a selected combination of 2 control panel buttons.

  6. Modbus Tag Update

This trigger monitors any change to a Modbus tag on the JNIOR. When one occurs, this trigger is activated.
